Jill L. Siegel
President

Jill has been the President of OMR since 1989, overseeing all facets of the operation and ensuring that the company provides the highest quality level of qualitative and quantitative data collection and services.

Prior to OMR, Jill had more than a decade of marketing experience with major corporations where she had strategic and tactical marketing and operations responsibilities that were both national and regional in scope.  Her experience at corporations (including Marriott International , General Mills and Quaker Oats) give Jill a total understanding of project planning, oversight, cost controls and customer service.

A Past President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Marketing Research Association, Jill served on the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee of the National Marketing Research Association, and actively participated in Women in Advertising & Marketing, the American Marketing Association and the Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington.  Jill has been a speaker and panelist on marketing research for those organizations, local colleges and universities, and others.

Jill holds a B.S. Hotel Administration from Cornell University and is honored to be an invited member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women, whose mission is to advance the involvement and leadership of women students, faculty, staff and alumnae. Jill also serves on the University Council of Cornell University.

Jill’s other passion is Maryland Bichon Frise Rescue, Inc. where she is a dedicated volunteer and serves as Vice President and Treasurer.   She spends countless hours rescuing and caring for Bichons as well as educating others about the joys and responsibilities of owning a Bichon Frise or other small dog.

Karen Sollod
Senior Vice President

Karen began her career with OMR in 1986 working as a part-time interviewer in our phone bank.  She fell in love with the challenges and fast-paced environment of market research and quickly worked her way up from interviewer to supervisor and then to senior management. In her current position as Senior Vice President of Operations, she handles all aspects of the day-to-day running of OMR.  Her attention to detail, enthusiastic personality and calm demeanor help make every project at OMR a success.

Prior to working full-time at OMR, Karen worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for the federal government. In her position she approved the establishment of communication links between Department of Defense computer systems worldwide.  Additionally she managed a team of Quality Control Managers working with government communications locally, nationally and internationally.  During her decade with the federal government, Karen took numerous classes at Anne Arundel Community College and over 100 courses at the National Cryptologic School.

Outside of the office, Karen can usually be found at home, entertaining family and friends.  While she enjoys road trips and traveling with her husband and son, she is always happy to come home to her quiet life on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Christopher Dona
Research & Facilities Manager

Since joining OMR in 2000, Christopher has been the on-site liaison for OMR’s Washington, DC facility. He takes care of all client needs, handles the audio/video requirements, and maintains a schedule of qualitative studies. With responsibilities including network administration, facilities management and maintaining OMR databases, Christopher studies management methods and operating practices to streamline OMR’s procedures.

In 1983, Christopher joined The Dona Group of companies after completing his education at Rostrevor College in Adelaide, Australia. He ascended through the organization, eventually holding the positions of General Manager and Corporate Secretary. Christopher’s background and skills set are ideal for his current position. 

In his spare time, Christopher enjoys learning about local horticulture and completing landscaping projects in his garden. He also enjoys exploring the US, his adoptive home.
