Jill L. Siegel
Jill L. Siegel is the sole shareholder and president of Olchak Market Research (OMR). Jill has more than a decade of marketing experience with major corporations including Al Copeland Enterprises, Inc., Vie de France, General Mills and Host International. She has had strategic and tactical marketing responsibilities that have been regional and national in scope.

With operations management experience with corporations including Marriott and Quaker Oats, Jill has a total understanding of project planning, oversight and cost controls.

In addition to her responsibilities with OMR, Jill is a current Board member and was a Past President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Marketing Research Association as well as a member of the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee for the National Marketing Research Association. Jill also remains active in the American Marketing Association, Women in Advertising & Marketing, Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington and the Cornell Society of Hotelmen.

Jill holds a B.S. degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and serves as a member of the Marketing Subcommittee for the School of Hotel Administration at the University.

 

Karen Sollod
Karen Sollod is Vice President of Operations at OMR. She has over 12 years of quantitative and qualitative research experience with OMR. She currently handles all staffing and is responsible for training, developing and management of all telephone recruiters, interviewers and field staff. As Vice President, Karen is also responsible for monitoring budget and schedule projections on a daily basis.

Prior to her current position at OMR, Karen worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for the Federal Government. Her responsibilities included approving, establishing and monitoring communication links between over 250 systems worldwide and overseeing a team of six Quality Control Managers. During her decade with the Government she also completed in excess of 100 college-level courses.

Karen's background in Market Research (working her way up from telephone interviewer to a senior member of management) provides her with a complete understanding of what it takes to "get the job done." She brings this knowledge and her enthusiasm to every project at OMR.
